In a recent event where I was invited to be part of, I was amazed to see a friend of mine launching a book amidst renowned dignitaries and bunch of young minds.It is not quite easy to author a book unless you have that fire in you. A data suggests that If 100 aspires to write a book, only 3 ends up writing it and 25% of that would actually publish it. Therefore, taking to writing and getting it to fruition is a journey by itself which needs commitment, passion and focus. Even, I’ve had the interest in authoring a book since 5 years but I barely made any attempt in that direction. This book launch from the classmate of mine has actually kindled my hidden interest and I plan to author a book soon. So, on that premise what does it take to author a book, if we delve deep into that there are few tips that really would help you. Often, we come across HR professionals who grapple with so much at work (firefighting) that naturally shift their focus from ensuring a successful on-boarding. In my personal experience I've always emphasized the importance and thus practiced it as a routine. Many young HR professionals I talk to share that they are not aware of how the On-boarding should be and what forms part of it and some are generally not aware of its purpose nor the impact.
