Pandemizing COVID19
Coronavirus is new to India even when several countries were threatened earlier by MERS CoV and SARS India was not much affected. Our generation is seeing the worst enemy of our lives but this could be tamed by many ways. At this point in time there isn’t any significant development in the drug/vaccination discovery although the trials are underway. Those staggering numbers in the USA, Spain, Italy and the ROW evidently portrays the danger associated with the virus. Personally, I speak to many of my friends in the US and they are confined to their houses and are fearful to even step out.
WHO has been recommending strict
measures and useful guidelines and awareness materials to create awareness, to
protect people from acquiring the disease. Based on their guidelines all the
countries are following their footpath. India is guided by WHO, Ministry of
Health and family welfare of central and state governments. The news channels
are doing their part to ensure the right information reaches the public. If we
fail to follow those guidelines we are voluntarily inviting the demon COVID-19
into our bodies, families and to the community at large. Without bothering
about the staggering numbers just focus on the measures that you can take, the
practices that you can bring forth in your life to keep things at bay. Leading
a disciplined life as our fore-fathers will be the new norm.
To add to what WHO has already
given in their guidelines
a.
It is critical that every one of us
practice respiratory etiquette. Use a hand kerchief or your elbows and
shoulders whenever you sneeze and cough.
b.
Avoid consumption of alcohol or
prevent smoking as those increases your risk of acquiring the disease
c.
Frequently use alcohol based
solution to wash your hands. Keeps your environment clean and tidy using
disinfectant for the floors atleast once in two days.
d.
Practice hygiene at home and office.
Maintain space the social distancing to mitigate the risks.

Above all, in a nutshell Self-Discipline is the key. India is a country with rich cultural values and heritage. We were taught be bold, disciplined and followed tough practices and rituals that overall developed our physical and mental well-being. Off-late, due to westernization and urbanization we Indians moved a little away from the reality and the nature. We’ve had great writers, thinkers, and philosophers telling us how to eat, how to exercise and how to live life completely.
It is recommended by the authorities in the domain that the lockdown is to be lifted in phased manner otherwise will lead to a much bigger wave of cases so I forsee a very calculated, data driven approach that will be adopted by the countries to mitigate further risks.
I strongly believe
that we’ll soon find a remedy against this pandemic and will lead a happy lives.
All said and done for me personally life is never going to be the same after this lockdown. A lot of introspection, new habits have helped me and I feel I'll lead a better life and I wish the same to you all.
BE SAFE; BE HAPPY; STAY POSITIVE; SPREAD JOY
